Working Journal Book Arts Workshop

A monthly subscription poetry workshop built around close reading, writing, revision, image, and conversation about craft.

Using POETRY magazine as our shared text, we gather each week to read poems closely, discuss the elements of craft that give poems their affective power, respond to writing prompts, explore image-based creative practices, experiment boldly, and share the discoveries we make along the way.

The workshop follows a recurring monthly rhythm of goal setting, drafting, revision, and reflection. Writers are encouraged to keep an image journal and to develop habits of observation, experimentation, and attentive reading while participating in an ongoing conversation about poetry, the craft of writing, and the value it holds in our lives.

Designed to meet writers where they are—whether beginning a writing practice, reclaiming one, or deepening and sustaining an existing practice.

$45/month.

Work-trade options are available to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation.
