Stories of the Storm Community Quilt
Thursdays, 11am–1pm

Community Make Space is honored to host one of the community quilts created as part of Stories from the Storm by PAGE — a regional storytelling and art initiative shaped in response to Hurricane Helene and its impact across Western North Carolina.

Each Thursday, community members are invited to spend time with the quilt in progress through stitching, conversation, reflection, and shared making. No quilting experience is necessary; participants are welcome to contribute a few stitches, share company around the table, or simply witness the evolving work.

This ongoing project honors the many ways communities carry memory, loss, resilience, care, and repair together — one story and one stitch at a time.
